Sometimes the simplest sweet gestures earn the biggest and best reactions.
That was exactly the case for television actress Kaley Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Big Bang Theory star, 35, took to her Instagram stories to share a wonderful surprise, just in time for the Golden Globes.

As she explained in the selfie video, she was prepared for the fact that Karl, 30, would be away for the awards ceremony this year, even though it marked Kaley’s first-ever nomination (for her new HBO Max series The Flight Attendant).
In her first caption, Cuoco noted that 'most of you know @Mrtankcook has been away @WEF for many weeks and has many more weeks of travel so I knew he wouldn’t be back to celebrate the globes with me'.
WEF stands for the winter equestrian festival, which is currently taking place at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida.

In her next slide, Kaley continued: 'The event is virtual so I wasn’t gonna force him to fly home for it, I knew he had a crazy schedule. Well I just answered the door and he came back!'
In the video, the Wedding Ringer star panned the camera to the side, showing her husband waving.
'I showed up,' Karl said jokingly. 'I was in the area.'

To this, Cuoco began to laugh, covering her mouth with her hand as the laughter soon turned into tears of surprised joy.

The couple then embraced sweetly.
'I can’t believe you got me so good,' Kaley remarked. 'I can’t believe you did that!'

'I am so glad it worked,' Cook responded.
The actress then gestured to some stains on the front of her blue shirt, explaining to her followers, 'These are tears, by the way!
'I’m so glad you’re here,' she concluded.

Kaley is in the running for a Golden Globe for best performance by an actress in a television series, musical or comedy, for her leading turn in the comedy-drama-mystery hybrid The Flight Attendant.
This first nomination comes for the starlet in spite of a decades-long career in television, including as a lead in the huge hit series The Big Bang Theory for 12 years.
The Golden Globes are set to be underway this Sunday as a virtual event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
