It's not every day we get a new series starring two of our favorite celebrity chefs, but it seems today is our lucky day! Bobby Flay announced in an Instagram post that he is part of an upcoming show with fellow chef Giada De Laurentiis, and we can't wait to binge watch the entire season in one sitting.
Bobby and Giada in Italy will premier on the discovery+ streaming platform on January 4, making it the perfect thing to look forward to in the new year. The series premiere date is also the day discovery+ opens up to the public, so get ready to pay $4.99 a month for the platform that will include shows from HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Animal Planet, and more.
"Exciting news....All your favorite shows, including a new series 'Bobby and Giada in Italy,' are coming to #discoveryplus on January 4th! Follow @discoveryplus to stay in the loop on what's coming…it's gonna be good," Bobby wrote in his Instagram announcement.
He didn't give much more information about the premise of the show, but one fan asked in the comments how the series would be set up. "Is this a cooking show, like with recipes; or is it a tasting show, similar to Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives? Either way, I'll tune in, but hoping for a cooking show!" to which Bobby replied that it will be both!
That means we can look forward to Bobby and Giada showing us the best places to eat around Italy, and hopefully learn some tips about how to make some authentic Italian cuisine at home. Can't wait!
