Georgina enjoyed a cosy New Year's at home and donned a white silk robe with frilled sleeves in the snap.

The Spanish beauty added to her look with a pair of shimmering diamond earrings with a blue bejewelled embellishment.

Georgina completed her look for the stunning snap by letting her brunette locks fall loose down her shoulders.

Georgina sparked engagement rumours during the summer when she shared a photo of herself herself sunbathing on a yacht during their Portofino trip, but caught attention by sporting a massive diamond ring on her wedding finger.

The former retail assistant looked sensational as she highlighted her toned bottom in a neon green swimsuit, which she styled with her dazzling accessory.

In January, Georgina sparked speculation that she'd tied the knot with her footballer beau when she referred to him as her 'husband' in a gushing post celebrating her 26th birthday.

Sharing a snapshot of herself and Ronaldo posing with their children, Georgina wrote: 'Happy 2️⃣6️⃣ for me, very happy. I can't ask life more. Just a lot of health for my family and me and to always enjoy them.

'Thank you all for your congratulations, flowers and therefore love ✨ And Thank you to my husband for giving me the best of life, our children. I love you.'

In Spanish, 'marido' is often used to describe a common law husband, while 'esposo' is more commonly employed as a description for a legally wed male.

When contacted by MailOnline, representatives for Ronaldo declined to comment.

For his part, Ronaldo shared the same snapshot on his own Instagram account, alongside the caption, in which he shared that he 'love[s] [her] so much'.

The Portuguese sportsman wrote alongside the heartwarming image: 'Congratulations my love! I wish you a very nice day! You are a great woman and an excellent mother for our children. I love you so much honey!'

The pair started dating in 2016 and share daughter Alana, two, together, while the athlete is also a father to

Nine-year-old Cristiano Jr, whose maternity is a mystery, and two-year-old twins Mateo and Eva, who were carried by a surrogate.

Towards the end of last year, the Portuguese footballer shot down reports from Novella 2000 magazine, which claimed he wed Georgina in a North African ceremony last August.

Sources close to the captain denied the rumours, branding all talk of the purported ceremony 'fake news'.

Georgina added weight to growing rumours of an engagement to Cristiano back in June 2018, when she wore a sparkling ring on her wedding finger as she cheered the footballer to victory at the World Cup in Moscow.

Rumours of a wedding came just months after Cristiano revealed plans to marry the bombshell - which he insists would be his mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro's dream.

Speaking to Piers Morgan during an interview with ITV, he said: 'She helped me so much. Of course I’m in love with her. We’ll be (married) one day, for sure. It’s my mum’s dream as well.

'So, one day. Why not? It’s great. She’s my friend. We have conversations. I open the heart for her and she opens the heart for me.’

20 must-read health books
The Health section of your local bookstore or online book retailer looks different than it did a couple of decades ago, when titles like Food-Free at Last: How I Learned to Eat Air or The South Beach Diet Supercharged were popular picks. Still today, authors—including would-be physicians, B-list celebs and underqualified fitness experts—dole out “health advice,” trying to convince readers that running themselves ragged with dieting and strenuous exercise will make them thinner, prettier, and happier.
